I received an email a few days ago from Joe Bob Briggs assistant, and I was instantly excited. This is the man that gave birth to my love for horror. TNT Monstervision is almost solely responsible for my love for horror movies. So I have I already worked on sending my scripts along, but I wanted to share this with all my fellow writers our there in case they want to do it as well.

Have you received any response since submitting Russ? I shot in two scripts and never heard anything. Will they be making an announcement when they have made their selections?
I haven't heard anything back yet, but I'm assuming there will be quite some period for accepting scripts. I am sending another email asking for a more particular time frame to hear back.

Thanks for posting this...I will be sending off a screenplay in a few hours, and this just might motivate me to complete another that I've been tinkering with!
